Superpremio CARISTUM

( Caristum is the ancient Roman name for the townof Acqui Terme, a city of Greek origin. )

The oenological competition for Piedmontese wines in the city of Acqui Termi in the province of Alessandria aims to create a shop window for DOC and DOCG wines from Piedmont. A jury composed of 40 experts rigorously selects, classifies into categories and attributes a score to each of the 400 wines taking part in the competition.

Our Barbera d'Alba 1997 aged in barriques was first in its category and was, in addition, awarded the overall title as the best wine among all the DOC red wines.

Our Dolcetto di Dogliani was the first in its category two years running, in 2001 and 2002.

Premio DOUJA D'OR

The Douja D 'OR is a wine competition at the national level that represents the ' most prestigious example 's entire Italian wine production.

On average, the DOC and DOCG wines presented are 1400 and come from all Italian regions.

The selection is organized with safety professionals from the Chamber of Commerce of Asti. After a competent and severe tasting carried a bottle obscured by a jury ONAV (National Organisation Wine Tasters) wines that reach the minimum score of 85/100, which are on average around 150, can boast the scope of recognition Douja D'Or .

The award-winning producers have the right to put on the bottles winning a numbered stamp which establishes the prestige achieved.
